For those of you that follow me on Instagram (click here.. my username is @orana007), would have seen that a few weekends ago, I interviewed Andrea Smalls, the Founder and CEO of Amore Organics, a small, but growing, local business that makes homemade organic beauty and home products, using sustainable ingredients, packaging, and operating from a minimalist ethos.

I’m going to be honest – I bashfully admitted this to Andrea right before commencing with the interview (see below) – this is the first time I’ve EVER interviewed anyone in this format on my own (without a team), and as I look back on it, I realise that I wasn’t nearly prepared as I had hoped to be. Next time, I’d definitely tell her neighbouring stall to turn the music down, but I still used some of those parts because his music luckily did not drown out the important parts of what she said.

It was a really fun experience for me and I wish her, and Amore Organics, the very best.
