The moment you move out of your parent’s home (whether it’s into student housing or your own place), you become responsible for the management of your new place. For many of us, that process was managed by the person we lived with, but as soon as you move out the management of your personal space becomes your own responsibility and for many, that means learning as you go along.

I’ve found that having a schedule to manage the cleaning and organisation of my home helps maintain my living spaces in a way that always has me prepared for any eventuality (especially unplanned family visits).
