Since I began the process of re-defining what a successful life looks like for me, I have found that making lots of time for relaxation has become a key part of that process. A lover of the creative arts (movies, film, theatre, opera, the ballet, music, fine arts… you name it and I love it), it’s no wonder that Netflix has become one of my favourite ways to enjoy my downtime.
There are a few shows that I’ve watched this month that I have really enjoyed (see below). What are you guys watching currently? Let me know in the comments section if you’ve come across anything good that I might have missed.

I am not going to lie to you guys. I am extremely disappointed that Henry Cavill will not be returning to the show. For someone that has not read the books, Cavil has really fleshed out the character of Geralt so phenomenally that I cannot even imagine another person playing the part.
However, that being said, it took the James Bond franchise six actors to get to the perfect fit, who, for me, is Daniel Craig. Let’s be honest, the franchise played the character as though Bond was some type of gentleman, but to do what he does, those of us that live in the real world know he was a thug in Prince’s clothing.
So, I’m going to reserve my opinion on the new Geralt and give him a chance to surprise me. All this being said, this latest season of Witcher was pretty awesome.

This is an American comedy-drama television series starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, is about an Indian-American high school student dealing with the sudden death of her father.
I started watching this show after the season premiered on Netflix and I haven’t looked back. I love the quirky characters and light-hearted dialogue that actually covers some deep topics. It’s not the high school experience of my childhood, but its absolutely enjoyable to delve into the experience of others, particularly as an adult.
Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend

This show has been on Netflix for about a year now, but for some reason, I only discovered it about a month ago and I was hooked! They also have installments for Mexico and Brazil. If you love cooking, food or cooking shows, this competition is for you. It almost rivals the BEST cooking competition on the planet (in my humble opinion), which is MasterChef Australia.
