This might seem like a random question, but the reason I ask is because even though I know that: firstly, change is the only constant in the universe and that, secondly, every living entity is subject to this universal law; it has recently come to my attention that it is a lot more nuanced than what I previously thought. Just as nature undergoes consistent seasonal change, even within it’s seasonal cycles, it is also important to realize that even these seasonal cycles undergo changes (think climate change) that affects living things existing within that cycle. It is a beautiful dance of energetic flow that is never ending and geared to result in the best possible outcome for all.
Now, this is where it becomes nuanced. So within this unregulated flow of regulated energy, what is one’s individual role? How do you engage with the energy around you? How do you engage with your own energy, as the energy around you flows, especially when it’s a flow or frequency you’ve never experienced before? How do you deal with the feelings of uncertainty that inevitably pop up? How do you assess what is going on around you and make informed decisions about how best to strategize the way forward (and in a way that will yield the result you’re looking for)?

Become comfortable within the realm of the unknown because that is the realm where miracles happen.

It is a known fact that some people handle periods of transition better than others. It doesn’t mean that they’re necessarily better than anyone else. No. It does suggest that they’ve probably evolved (whether due to the experiences that they’ve had or due to their innate personalities) to handle energetic transitions without experiencing feelings of stress, fear or apprehension. I chalk this down to experience and a determination to weather the storm that is fueled by love for all of humanity and existence – as well as an acceptance of their place within it. It is important to note that determination (or motivation, in some cases) does not stem from the same place, so can never yield that same result. The individual is key. Intention is a strong determining factor regarding the outcome of a particular situation.

Personally, I have always lived my life with two key adages: Let it go and go with the flow. I am pretty comfortable not knowing what is going on around me. This is a challenge for many people and I completely understand why. I am live alone and my decision-making process includes only me. I definitely appreciate that this is not the case for millions of people, who may have families or other commitments that require them to live according to predictable schedules and events. However, this has no impact on the universal law that ‘the one constant in the universe is change.’ And no matter how much an individual might want to submit universal laws to their own comfort, it just doesn’t work that way.
So. This leads me back to the question: how do you deal with change and why does it work for you?
