My name is Victoria Svanikier and I have been writing and editing my way through life for the past fifteen years. Eleven years ago, I stepped into the world of digital content creation and marketing – and I haven’t looked back since.

In a past life, I worked as an energy consultant, providing extensive qualitative and quantitative analysis on linkage development stemming from the upstream oil and gas sector in order to understand the effects those developments had on industrial development, and domestic and global value chains.

However, throughout my stint in the energy industry, I always found time for writing. I have been writing and editing since college (circa 2007), working for companies like Global Media Alliance (CNN Africa Journalist of Year Award) and DUST Magazine (Open Forum Participant 2012, hosted by the Soros Foundation).

At the beginning of 2022, I made the decision to live life as a full-time writer. A creative at heart, I am on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance.
